Detailed Design and Construction Supervision of Additional Carriageway for National Highway N-5, Kharian – Sohawa Section (62.5 Km)The project section located in the northern Punjab province, extends through Kharian and Jehlum districts. Total length of this section of the road is 62.5 km (additional carriageway) of N-5 with major bridges over river Jehlum, Dina and Bakrala.
Project Duration: Jun 1992 -Sep 2003 Project Cost: 4.2 billionDetailed Design and Construction Supervision of Additional Carriageway Baberlo – Ghotki Section, National Highway N-5, Contract GOP-3 (59 Km)
This highway project between Baberlo - Ghotki towns is generally known as GOP-3 and is a part of the National Highway [N-5]. The Baberlo-Ghotki section covers approximately 59 kms in length and runs parallel to the existing N-5 [National Highway]. This section passes through some difficult terrain like heavy rock cuts and water logged areas.
Project Duration: Jan 1995 -Mar 2000 Project Cost: 1.7 billionDetailed Design and Construction Supervision of Additional Carriageway for National Highway N-5, Kotri Kabir – Baberlo Section, Contract GOP-2 (73.5 Km)
The project consists of a total length of 73.5 kms of road construction. It contains approximately 26 kms of Additional Carriageway from Kotri Kabir to Ranipur and from Therhi to Baberlo along the existing alignment. A 45.3 kms dual carriageway provided between Ranipur and Therhi along the realigned stretch of National Highway N-5 and 2.1 km bypass for Baberlo bypass at the end.
