Detailed Design of 450 Km Indus Highway Phase-III
This project is the last phase of the construction of Indus Highway. It connects the three provinces of Sindh, Punjab and the Frontier. As compared to Phase-I & Phase-II, this is a different project because of the difficulties faced in the rehabilitation of the existing Phase-I and Phase-II roads. It was decided that Phase-III roads would be constructed on totally new alignment. The alignment passes through the cities of Rajanpur, Dear Ghazi Khan in Punjab and Dera Ismail Khan in N.W.F.P.
This NHA (National Highway Authority) project started in February 1998 and ended in June 2001.
Associated Firms include Pacific Consultants International of Japan.
